Nihongo dekimasen [Japanese was not possible]? I'm sure, I could translate it using Google Translate too, except for some cases (I know how wrong it works). Maybe you can choose the language in my next game between german and austrian languages :mrgreen:LCD Wrote:Nice graphics and very fast action game, but the language...Yes, you can choose between Spanish (E) and Castillian © It's another game joke. I forgot do DL the source...

Awesome!!! :o
You managed to make all these effects without using assembler?? ZX BASIC is fast enought then... (happy!) Also, this game is bilingual so other people could also give it a try. Definitely, I think you should upload it to WOS.

A folder/subforum for this??
I think this (VERY!) interesting thread should be placed into a subforum, so each user can upload its creations in a new thread. What do you think?

Hi all
This is my first game using ZX Basic Compiler: O-Trix, a Tetris clone: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KIAPM8UU TZX and source code is provided. Hope you enjoy it and any comments are welcome. Cheers

Instead of putting the link to megaupload, you can try uloading directly to this forum! (See posts above!) Of course, if you want!

boriel Wrote:A folder/subforum for this??[+1] I second that. After ZX Basic will get a larger user base, I think, a single thread will be very overloaded, especialy if the works will be discussed here. Previews anf full versions should be in the same thread, and if the ZXBC will become multiplatform (Amstrad, MSX, QL, SAM, you should also split up the showcase forum into different supported machines, so careful planing will save yoiu a lot of work.

oblo Wrote:Hi allI played it on emulator. The game is very good, but living in austria is a little bit problematic. Your key layout is not thr standard QAOPM (Okay, I can recompile the source with new keys) because on german keyboards Z and Y are swapped and in wrong place. Your keyboard lauout uses the "Z" key. On the real ZX Spectrum so the game then plays much better than on emulator.

Oooops, my bad: I forgot about that there are more keyboard layouts besides QWERTY... next time I'll implement a Redefine Keys option.
Also, with the help of more people, I managed to resolve two bugs (more randomness to the pieces and remove the "ghost" colour that appear when a line is completed, so here is the revised version. Cheers

It is a good game now, and excellent beginning. I never have coded a Tetris myself, even if I like this kind of games.

just one question: where can we share our webpages about zx-spectrum? i started one at http://nitrofurano.altervista.org/retroc...xspectrum/ - it's still very in the start, but i'm really curious on keep updating it and share some more stuff there

Don't know. But if you want a place here, perhaps we should consider creating a sub-forum here.

would be interesting, since each one of us here seems to have a personal webpage about zx-spectrum for sharing stuff related with
