Hmmm. Great. I think I could use this for the Retro stand I'm working on for the Tenerfe Lan Party (See here). BTW, many banners were made by me.

I will give a talk about ZX Basic (or maybe only BASIC) algorithms. I still haven't decided which ones will I explain :oops:
I have an hour for the talk. I was thinking in talking about 3 simple algorithms (enough for 1hour).
  • Random laberinth generators (I usually do things like this)
  • Fractal generation
  • Other???

Suggestions are welcome. Algorithms must be programmable in ZX Basic or simple BASIC. They must be generic and interesting (usually suitable for games).
Any suggestion? :oops:

Old, old algorithms, really - but people may be interested. You seemed intrigued on the ghost movement.

And of course, Berksman uses these. Not to mention teh attract mode comedy probably makes a reasonable quiet background Wink


Basic idea is get a list of squares you can move to, and a target square you want to be in, then decide which of the squares you can move into is nearest to the target square. Why it's interesting is the different choices for target squares different ghosts make at different times.
