This is a very important topic :!:
In fact I've been reluctant to include every library, because it might confuse other users who might feel overwhelmed by so many different libraries.
We should tag our libraries and define:
  • Purpose: Specific, general, 2x2 sprite, pixel-perfect, pixel-by-pixel, attr, filmation... etc
  • Advantages: Low mem, fast, easy of usage, etc...
  • Drabacks: Fat mem, slow, hard to use, etc...

And separate some of them in subdirs. Ej. I've put mj/ dir as the Mojon Twins directory (for their fourspriter). There are other 4spriter variants (e.g. Britlion's), so to avoid filename clash, they should go in another dir, for example. The same applies to other routines (e.g. char routines).

What do you think?

yes that sounds good, and whether or not the sprite redraws the background is an important thing to know

I think you should add a note in the library files that links to the library on here, where the most up to date entries on them are found anyway.

And yes - there should be a description file that states that this version is fastest, but most memory hogging and such details.
