The LSP (Language Server Protocol) is supported by VSCode, Sublime and many others.
BTW VSCode (Visual Studio Code) is open source (yes, the Visual Studio Editor) and multi-platform (Linux / Win / Mac).

Also for Windows we have other IDEs, like BorIDE, TommyGun (resurrected?)...
