The Spectrum Client
#1
Here is the V 1.2 of my spectranet client. There are 2 MUDS and one BBS.

You will need a spectrum with a spectranet add on, or you can use the FUSE emulator which is set up to use the spectranet.

btw, how do we use spectranet and test it with your utility?

First the spectranet is a bit of plugin hardware for the speccy.

or

You can use the FUSE emulator with a spectranet setup. You should be able to get help in setting it up if you goto the WOS chat.

With a regular IRC client.
In that setup, use the following configuration:

Servername: irc.worldofspectrum.org
Port: 6667
Password: 16384
Channels: #general, #technical

or

http://sourceforge.net/p/fuse-emulator/c...tranet.txt (a how to)
or use my snapshot http://www.boriel.com/forum/download/file.php?id=88

One thing to beware of on a snapshot is that you need to reset the IP address of the virtual Spectranet to the IP address of your real device.

This is awesome!
Which Network routines did you use?
If I recall correctly, the ones bundled with ZX Basic didn't work very well
