That's actually very impressive. Using the same principle as the grid motion images - but, given it's 8 frames of animation monochrome, it's still equivalent to 18 full static screenshots in memory at once, or over 72Kb of raw data before you talk code. Presumably decompressing to a buffer for each screen. But that's very good compression. What did you use as a compression algorithm? Do we get to see it in source form, ever? |
