Thanks for that. I've never heard of telegram so I just went to download it and make an account but it seems it won't work without a mobile phone (smart phone) and I don't have one.

You don't have a mobile phone??
Or do you mean that you are not willing to use it to register to Telegram? Telegram is like WhatsApp app.
That said, once you sign in, you don't need to share your mobile to enter the group (unlike WhatsApp, the number is always private). You can use a nickname instead (but once registered with a mobile number).

I don't have one at all. Just still got a normal phone landline at home. That's a shame, I would have liked to have joined that.

Well, there's a Discord server for the ZX Next, and there's a channel for Boriel Basic named "#boriel".
Join there, I connect from time to time, and so do others of this forum :-)
