When I exited gmail and looked up to the free space counter, I saw it started counting from 2.9GB and then jumped to 4GB. I don’t know whether it is an error by Google or it really obeys their policy.

Other pages seems to remark this, and it seems the “progressive storage size enlargement” has not been so “progresive”. :)
